Oh woe is the invisible man. He stares into the mirror. All he sees is what is behind him. He will never look at himself.
Others cannot see who he is but they can see the results of his actions and those results bring pain.
They know the invisible man needs to be fixed, but cannot see what is really broken in him.
This frustrates the invisible man. Resentful and bitter, he isolates himself because he cannot see his own brokeness.
